Στη συνέχεια και καθώς στην παρούσα εργασία έμφαση δίνεται στην παραγόμενη ενέργεια, χωρίς χρήση στοιχείων που αφορούν τη μεταφορά, αποθήκευση και διανομή της ενέργειας, δεν γίνεται πλήρης οικονομική αξιολόγηση, η οποία θεωρήθηκε μη απαραίτητη σε αυτό το στάδιο. Ωστόσο είναι αντιληπτό ότι η καλύτερη λύση δεν θα μπορούσε να είναι υποχρεωτικά αυτή που θα δίνει την μεγαλύτερη ισχύ, αν θα ήταν δυνατή η κατασκευή διάταξης μικρότερης χωρητικότητας, η οποία θα μπορούσε να είναι πιο αποτελεσματική, μειώνοντας έτσι ένα μέρος του κόστους. Καθώς κάποια κόστη στη διαδικασία είναι σταθερά, οπότε η όποια οικονομική διαφορά θα προκύψει από το περιμετρικό μήκος της δεξαμενής του κάθε σεναρίου. Δεδομένου του σταθερού μήκους των 100 m, το στοιχείο που αλλάζει την χωρητικότητα της δεξαμενής είναι η περίμετρος της διατομής της. Το χρωματισμένο τμήμα είναι αυτό που διαφοροποιείται στο κάθε σενάριο της διάταξης (εικόνα ….) και ορίζεται για ευκολία αναφοράς ως LOBREC, μεταβάλλοντας το κόστος.
