Χαρακτηριστικά είναι και τα δοκίμια από αφίσες που δημιουργεί αντλώντας τη θεματική του από αρχαϊκές παραστάσεις και θεωρητικά συγγράμματα του Ευριπίδη, του Σοφοκλή, του Αισχύλου και του Αριστοφάνη. Σε αυτή τη σειρά βρίσκονται οι τσιγκογραφίες του καλλιτέχνη «Οι Όρνιθες», «Αντιγόνη», «Προμηθέας», «Βάκχες», όπου ο Αργυράκης εκμεταλλεύεται αρχαίους μύθους και το αρχαίο ελληνικό δράμα, προκειμένου να δώσει αντικειμενική υπόσταση στις πολιτικές του απόψεις. Συσχετίζει στα έργα του το πνεύμα των συγγραφέων με τα γεγονότα της περιόδου της επταετίας και δημιουργεί καυστική σάτιρα κοινωνικής διαμαρτυρίας.
