The locality's claim of a product can be accompanied by guarantees for the geographical origin of the product at all stages of production. In products with more advanced production processes in space as in dairy products, the designation of the locality depends on many parameters.Upstream of the production of milk products (i.e. slice), we find not only the different geographical origin of milk, but also the diverse geographic origin of feed flocks. An extensive market survey on aigo-sheep farms in the region of Thessaly, recorded using GIS all pasture and agricultural parcels used by each farm to ensure the required feed on an annual basis. Edit this spatial information revealed different territorial source models of the feed (typology), which form different models proximity, allowing for expansion of "food miles" to "production" food miles ", by integrating in this way the production process in the claim of the locality of a product (integration in system of warranties).
