Με την μέθοδο skimming, κλέβανε στοιχεία από νόμιμους κατόχους πιστωτικών καρτών, παγιδεύοντας διάφορα ΑΤΜ σε μη κεντρικά σημεία διάφορων πόλεων και στην συνέχεια, δημιουργούσαν κάρτες – κλώνους, με τα στοιχεία όμως των νέων (παράνομων) κατόχων τους. Σκοπός τους ήταν να αποδείξουν σε τυχόν έλεγχο από Ευρωπαϊκές Αστυνομίες, πως είχαν όλα τα απαραίτητα εχέγγυα να ταξιδέψουν σε χώρες της Ευρώπης
