Για τα σήματα εισόδου, τα οποία μεταφέρονται στους Η/Ν REF, μέσω καλωδίωσης (hardwired) και προκαλούν την απόζευξη (trip) των διακόπτων, θα αναμένονταν να χρησιμοποιούνται επαφές κανονικά κλειστές (NC), χωρίς σφάλμα και ανοιχτές σε σφάλμα (fail-safe function).

For input signals which are transferred to the H / N REF, via wiring (hardwired) and causing uncoupling (TRIP) of switches, they would be expected to be used contacts normally closed (NC), without a fault and open to error (fail-safe function).
