Ένα τραυματισμένο αγόρι με πράσινη

Ένα τραυματισμένο αγόρι με πράσινη στολή και με ακρωτηριασμένο το αριστερό του πόδι προσπαθεί με πατερίτσες να περπατήσει. Στο βάθος του έργου η φιγούρα ενός πουλιού πετάει ελεύθερα στο μπλε φόντο του ουρανού που έρχεται σε αντίθεση με την τραυματισμένη φιγούρα του αγοριού. Ο Αργυράκης απεικονίζει κυρίως παιδιά του πολέμου που υποφέρουν, τραυματισμένα ή ακρωτηριασμένα, θλιμμένα πρόσωπα, βομβαρδισμένα αφαιρετικά κόκκινα τοπία από τις εκρήξεις που έρχονται σε αντίθεση με τον γαλάζιο.
