Τα πρώτα προϊόντα της BASF κυκλοφόρ

Τα πρώτα προϊόντα της BASF κυκλοφόρησαν στην Ελληνική αγορά, μέσω αντιπροσώπων, περίπου στα μέσα της δεκαετίας του 1950.

Το 2000, ιδρύθηκε η BASF Agro Ελλάς ΑΒΕΕ, η πρώτη θυγατρική εταιρεία της BASF στην Ελλάδα για τα προϊόντα φυτοπροστασίας, μετά την εξαγορά σε παγκόσμιο επίπεδο της εταιρείας American Cyanamid από τον Όμιλο BASF.

Το 2006 η BASF εξαγοράζει την παγκόσμια δραστηριότητα της Degussa AG στα χημικά κατασκευών. Η Degussa Χημικά Κατασκευών Ελλάς Α.Ε. μετονομάζεται σε BASF Χημικά Κατασκευών Α.Ε.

Στις αρχές του 2009, η BASF Agro Ελλάς Α.Β.Ε.Ε. συγχωνεύτηκε με τη BASF Χημικά Κατασκευών Α.Ε. και δημιουργήθηκε νέα εταιρεία με την επωνυμία BASF Ελλάς Α.Β.Ε.Ε.

Από την 1η Ιουλίου 2013, η BASF Ελλάς ΑΒΕΕ είναι υπεύθυνη και για τον κλάδο των χημικών της BASF στην Ελλάδα, για τον οποίο, έως τώρα, ήταν διανομέας και αντιπρόσωπος της BASF η εταιρεία Δρ. Δ.Α. Δελής Α.Ε.

Τα κεντρικά γραφεία της βρίσκονται στην Αγία Παρασκευή Αττικής. Διατηρεί επίσης γραφεία στη Θεσσαλονίκη, τη Λάρισα και έχει μια εγκατάσταση παραγωγής και αποθήκευσης στη Θεσσαλονίκη, στη Βιομηχανική Περιοχή Σίνδου.
