Κατά την αποδοχή αποστολών από εγκεκριμένο μεταφορικό γραφείο, το εγκεκριμένο μεταφορικό γραφείο παραλαβής καθορίζει το καθεστώς ασφάλειας του φορτίου εξακριβώνοντας κατά πόσο αναγράφεται ή όχι επί του συνοδευτικού εγγράφου η ένδειξη «SPX», «SHR» ή «SCO». Εάν δεν αναγράφεται η εν λόγω μνεία, θεωρείται ότι δεν έχουν διενεργηθεί προηγουμένως διαδικασίες ασφάλειας.
