Επίσκεψη αντιπροσωπείας της Παλιλούλα ( 11/02/2015 )
Το Δήμαρχο Κέρκυρας, Κώστα Νικολούζο, επισκέφθηκε σήμερα αντιπροσωπεία από το Δήμο Παλιλούλα της Σερβίας ο οποίος έχει αδελφοποιηθεί με τον πρώην Δήμο Φαιάκων. Στην αντιπροσωπεία συμμετείχαν εκπρόσωποι του Δήμου της Παλιλούλα, με επικεφαλής το Δήμαρχο Stojan Nikolic, του Πατριαρχείου της Σερβίας και της Σερβικής ορθόδοξης Εκκλησίας.
Υποδεχόμενος την αντιπροσωπεία, ο κ. Νικολούζος αναφέρθηκε στους ισχυρούς δεσμούς φιλίας που ενώνουν τη Σερβία με την Κέρκυρα, τονίζοντας ότι ο Δήμος ενδιαφέρεται για την περαιτέρω ενίσχυση των μεταξύ μας σχέσεων. Προσέθεσε μάλιστα ότι σε περιόδους κρίσης, σαν αυτή που περνά η χώρα μας, αποκτά ιδιαίτερη σημασία η ενίσχυση των σχέσεων με παραδοσιακούς φίλους.
Ο Δήμαρχος της Παλιλούλα, Stojan Nikolic, αναφέρθηκε – επίσης – στις παραδοσιακές σχέσεις φιλίας των δυο λαών, και προσέθεσε πως η συνεργασία μεταξύ Σερβίας και Κέρκυρας μπορούν να επεκταθούν και στον οικονομικό τομέα. Χαρακτηριστικά πρότεινε τη δημιουργία ενός γραφείου Κέρκυρας στην Παλιλούλα ενώ οι ίδιοι ενδιαφέρονται να χρηματοδοτήσουν την αναβάθμιση των εγκαταστάσεων των κατασκηνώσεων των Γουβιών. Τέλος, πρότεινε την υπογραφή πρωτοκόλλου συνεργασίας μεταξύ της Κέρκυρας και της Παλιλούλα.
Ο Δήμαρχος της Κέρκυρας βρήκε – καταρχήν – θετικές τις παραπάνω προτάσεις και δεσμεύτηκε ότι θα συζητηθούν στα αρμόδια όργανα.

He added that in times of crisis, like the one that runs our country, it is important to strengthen relations with traditional friends.The Mayor of Paliloyla, Stojan Nikolic noted, mentioned – also – in the traditional relations of friendship of the two peoples, and added that cooperation between Serbia and Corfu can be extended to the financial sector. Features proposed creating an Office of Corfu in Paliloyla while they themselves are interested to finance the upgrading of facilities of gouvia camps. Finally, proposed the signing of a protocol of cooperation between Corfu Town and Paliloyla.The Mayor of Corfu found – in principle – positive the above suggestions and pledged that will be discussed in the relevant organs.

Finally, proposed the signing of a cooperation protocol between Corfu and Paliloula.
The Mayor of Corfu found - in principle - the more positive suggestions and pledged that will be discussed in the relevant bodies.
